My mom gave my fiancé and me a bag of truly terrible conversation hearts this Valentine’s Day. They were Friends-themed. It’s not that Friends is terrible (I mean it is, in terms of its rampant homophobia, fatphobia, and the existence of a character as repugnant and sociopathic as Ross Gellar aside), but the hearts themselves were, dare I say, badly written.
