My sincere apologies for the delay, dear subscribers! I have been quite ill recently and wasn’t able to get the monthly writing prompt out on time. Thank you, as always, for your gracious recognition of life’s messiness. This work happens because of you.

Far be it from me to try to wedge my favorite holiday into springtime celebrations, but folks: it’s built right in.

Not just for those who celebrate a certain someone supposedly rising from the dead, April is also a time of rebirth and renewal in cultures around the world. This month’s writing prompt asks you to dig into the dirt of death as you launch into glorious spring.
