PopPoetry Postscript: July 1, 2022
A sentient shell with shoes on brings the work of a famous British poet to the silver screen, a poem breaks my heart, and a bunch of smarty pants strike out on a poetry trivia question.
It’s hard to remain upbeat and keep the high summer vibes going when so many dire news items pile up day after day here in the United States. This weekend I’ll be celebrating an extended Midsummer rather than a patriotic display for a country determined to destroy itself and its people.
